The Salvage

The Salvage is fighting plastic pollution by making activewear leggings and shorts (and matching scrunchies!) out of recycled plastic bottles.

Their fun designs are made by digital printing instead of polluting dyes so that you and the planet can be comfortable together! With their organic cotton, ethically-made slogan T-shirts they encourage everyone to join them in making the fashion industry fair and sustainable.

Wondering what’s the process behind their leggings? Well, it all starts with plastic bottles. They are classified by colour, then washed, shattered and melted. This happens in an ethically run factory in China. The recycled PET plastic fabric is then bought by The Salvage and brought to Spain, where it is cut and sewn.

Fancy doing yoga or working out while wearing recycled plastic bottles? We do too!
